I know that many may disagree with this, but!  These scriptures I quoted, do say that by wilfull sin turns us away from God.  It says that by sinning, we turn away.  By turning away, we put Christ back on the cross.  If Christ is on the cross, he cannot forgive our sins until we accept Him as the risen from the dead, son of God and the only way we can be forgiven of our sins, and the only way to get to Heaven!
We cannot accept the part of the Bible that tells us God is love and will forgive, without accepting the part of the Bible that says “if we sin”, we cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven.  If we cannot enter Heaven, we are not saved!
Please don’t “crucify” me for these statements.  Please, study and discover what God is saying to us.   Obviously, if we don’t listen to God instead of others (even leaders) then we may become deceived.   Remember Jim Jones!
I’m not saying our leaders are wrong.  I’m saying if we do not study the Word of God, we will not know when they are wrong.
I guess I began to diverse, but really, I am standing on the foundation that began thru the “Hell fire and Brimstone” preaching of Brother Lucas.
God is Love, but, God is also just.  Today, we only hear about a loving God who does not send His people to Hell.   This is TRUE!  God does not send His people to Hell.  However!  If you are living in sin - any sin - then you ARE NOT GOD’S PEOPLE.
The world is looking for people who display what being a Christian is.   I can state that B.H. Lucas and those I knew at his church do display the discipline, love and conviction of being a Christian.
Doctrine (other than Jesus Christ) will not save your soul.  In the Book of The Revelation we are told that Jesus would rather have us “hot or cold”.  He goes on to say that if we are lukewarm, He will spew us out of His mouth.
If you sin one day and go to church the next:  If you say you are Christian but do not act like one:  Then you are a hypocrite.
I am proud to say that my Uncle taught me well.  Please read the attached auto-biography of B.H. Lucas, an example of courage, love, and dedication.
