Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin and the others that signed the Declaration of Independence, and the people that fought and died believe in what they were doing and did something about.  Christians need to do the same!
The point I’m trying to make has nothing to do with the government or it’s corruption because that will be with us always.  John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton  said it best "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."
I find it interesting that this nation was founded on the principal of God, but currently this nation is against God! Our politicians seems to have stopped caring about God and started caring more about themselves and their political status.   What concerns me is Christians inability to stand up for God! Jesus said in Luke 9:26 “For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels“.
Christians allowed prayer to be taken out of schools and Christians said nothing, not even a protest or a rally of any sort. We can no long talk about God in the work place or wear anything that pertains to Christianity without being fired.   And coming to a theater near you Christians will be persecuted and killed for belief in God! Will you die for God? The Bible says that “He that enders to the end will be saved” Jesus gave us everything, including His life! I think the least we could do is stand up for God and be identified.   |
