Andy Grizzle
and Crimson River

Andy Grizzle is not only blessed, but also has experienced the power of God in bringing us through troubles.  Many of us have lost loved ones and know the pain.  On Sunday evening, December 6, 2009, Regina Grizzle went to meet the Lord after a battle with Cystic Fibrosis, Diabetes and several other medical issues.
Regina was a part of Crimson River and was a featured vocalist.  You might remember one of her songs: “Daystar”.
However, we must go on.  Andy did just that.  Crimson River is still actively serving the Lord in Music, Testimony and Ministry.
Andy Grizzle sings baritone and lead.  Andy is also a drummer and piano.  Andy is a songwriter and has written songs for the group since 1996.  Andy is the current director for the Midwest Quartet Convention.  He currently is living in Coal Valley, Illinois.
Crimson River is from Hampton, Illinois.  They have been on the road since 1991.
Dee Ann Douthart has been singing soprano and alto. Dee lives in Dewitt, Iowa with her husband Steve and baby daughter, Selah.
Melinda Standford is the newest member of Crimson River and joined them in February, 2011.  Melinda sings soprano and is also a BMI Songwriter.  Keep on Running was written by Melinda and is on their latest album, “Glorious Tomorrow”.  Melinda and husband, Ralph live in Elkview, West Virginia.
In the spring of 2012, Crimson River will be recording a new project on the Homeland Inspiration Group.  For more information, click on their website link above.

A song from their new album, Glorious Tomorrows has done very well on the charts.  That song, Walk Away Free along with the complete interview and testimony of Andy Grizzle can be heard below.

We are certainly going to keep our eyes on Crimson River and look forward to more.  We gladly recommend that you do so as well.  KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
