The Kingsmen
Reese

“Cuzin” Ray (his nickname) has been with the Kingsmen for over 47 years.  He sings Bass.  The son of a Baptist Minister.  He’s from Asheville, N.C.  Likes golf, watching sports, old war movies and reading.  How he has time for all this, who knows?
Ray’s birthday is May 16th.  He has performed at the White House in a presidential concert for President Jimmy Carter.  Ray is a member of the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame among others.
Ray is most proud of the untold numbers he has introduced to Jesus Christ.  Ray’s and his wife, Carolyn, reside in Asheville, NC.
I’m sure it would not be difficult to fill a book, let alone this article with the accomplishments of Ray Dean Reese.
To be with The Kingsmen for all of these years is a testament to his talent as well as his love for The Lord.
In our interview with Mr. Reese, you will find, as I have, his enthusiasm.  Not bad for a man of his age.

Although brief, I think you will find this interview will allow you to feel the enthusiasm, the love of God and the love of his fellowman.  This is Ray Dean Reese.  Ray Dean Reese’s Interview .
The web page for The Kingsmen is: www.kingsmenquartet.com.  You will learn that the same attributes of Ray Dean Reese apply to the rest of the members of The Kingsmen.
You will also learn about the “unseen” Kingsmen, Daniel Branscum - Transportation and Product Manager.  Brandon Reese, Ray’s son, is also their drummer and handles sound for The Kingsmen.
Trust me!  The New Kingsmen is every bit as good as the original Kingsmen.
