Hurting People!. . . . WHO CARES? Continued!

Although I am guilty (Paul said he was the chief of sinners) I constantly pray that the Lord will bring me to show that compassion which I need have to be a good father, good husband, good friend, and a good Christian.

We must be there When they
need us.

Will I ever make it?  God knows!  I do try.  But, as I tell my children; “trying is not enough”.  I must be a “doer of the word”.
Hurting people are all around us.  Some hurt more than others.  We must look for that hurt.  We must be willing, and able, even anxious to be the instrument  God wishes to use to help heal that hurt.Ask yourself; why do I love God?  Why do I love my wife, why did I marry her?  Why do we love each other?
The answer must be; BECAUSE WE WERE THERE FOR EACH OTHER WHEN WE WERE NEEDED.
This country was founded on the motto: “give me your tired, your poor, your hungry” America seems to have forgotten that motto.
Christianity was founded on Jesus Christ (the ultimate example of love).  Christians were commanded by Christ to love one another (John 13:34:35).

Have we forgotten that too?
