The Legendary

Squire Parsons, Jr. has been blessed and has blessed countless thousands of Christians and gospel music fans across the United States, and indeed, the world.
Perhaps his most famous song is “Sweet Beaulah Land”    which was written in 1973 while he was traveling to a school where he was teaching in West Virginia.
Squire Parsons, Jr. is still teaching, but not in school.  He is teaching the world about Jesus Christ and how they too can be in Sweet Beaulah Land.
I found it quite exciting to interview Squire Parsons, Jr.  I also found it amazing to find his stamina and zeal for the Lord is still number one.

His father, Squire Parsons, Sr. was a choir director and taught shaped note gospel music.  He also introduced Squire, Jr. to music.  His love for music continues and grows.

Squire has been nominated by the Singing News’ fans for “Favorite Baritone"; “Favorite Gospel Songwriter”; and “Favorite Southern Gospel Male Singer”.  He has been nominated for more awards than we can list here.
We have also chosen these songs from Squire’s new album to share with you.  “God Loves His Church”  and “I Want To Go Out With A Shout” .
It is an honor to add Squire Parsons, Jr. to a long list of Gospel Music Legends I have had the privilege to interview.
I challenge you to invite Squire Parsons to your church to share Jesus and His love. I further challenge you to talk with Squire Parsons and not feel the Spirit of God withing him.
   God Bless You Squire!
